Storyline / Plot
In a world where humans and anthropomorphic animals co-exist, cool-headed pickpocket and thief Mr. Wolf leads The Bad Guys, a gang of infamous criminal animals who commit brazen thefts and evade the authorities, due to the public's notes of them as inherently "bad" animals.
After bodily injured by superintendent Diane Foxington on sentient television, Wolf convinces his gang to pull off a heist to steal a critical rave review called the Golden Dolphin back it's awarded to guinea pig philanthropist Professor Marmalade at a gala. During the heist, Wolf by mistake helps an elderly woman and is praised for the good deed, leading to Wolf feeling weird at having done a good deed. After the gang is exposed and arrested, Wolf persuades Marmalade following Foxington's cheer to reform them, planning to take on advantage of the pretense to steal the great compliment again.
Marmalade invites the gang to his home, but they wrestle with his lessons, unable to become accustomed to good behavior. After a "heist for good" to rescue a herd of guinea pigs from a research lab fails due to Wolf's second-in-command, Mr. Snake, eating them, Foxington decides to call off the experiment but relents subsequent to Wolf confesses that he became a criminal because he despises swine hated for his species; she admits she understands and has wish for him. Wolf contemplates the matter and finds himself rescuing a cat from a tree, which Marmalade history and publishes, turning the public image of the gang around. However, Snake fears that he is losing touch with his friend.
The gang executes a supplementary heist to steal the great compliment once more during a gala, but Wolf cannot bring himself to finish the plan, and decides to reform for real. Wolf and Foxington fracture into Marmalade's house to steal the meteorite, without help to be captured by Marmalade and Snake. They are rescued by the settle of the gang, and later steal the meteorite while foiling Marmalade's heist. They arrive at the police station to direction in the meteorite until Wolf decides to attempt and bring Snake urge on despite his betrayal. During the chase, Marmalade betrays Snake to blackmail Wolf and steals the meteorite back.
After rescuing Snake and destroying Marmalade's mind-control helmet, the gang surrenders to the authorities to prevent Foxington from revealing her former criminal past. Marmalade attempts to tolerate explanation for recovering the meteorite, but it is revealed to be a play-act planted by Snake, who had faked his defection. He secretly switched it for a meteorite-shaped lamp and overcharged the genuine one inside Marmalade's basement, causing it to blow up Marmalade's manor. subsequently the feat meteorite falls on Marmalade, a diamond he stole from Foxington falls from his suit, which Chief Luggins recognizes as the Zumpango diamond that was stolen by the Crimson Paw years ago. Implicated as the Crimson Paw and revealed to be the meteorite thief, Marmalade is arrested.
In a mid-credits scene set a year later, the gang is released from prison in front in buoyant of their good behavior and leave in the same way as Foxington, having reformed and going to their extra jobs.
